first_img October 18, 2017 Governor Wolf’s Statement on House Finance Committee’s Shale Tax Approval Budget News,  Press Release,  Severance Tax Harrisburg, PA – Governor Wolf provided the following statement on the House Finance Committee’s approval of a shale tax:“I urge House leadership to bring the severance tax to a vote on the floor as soon as they return to Harrisburg next week.“This is a fair and commonsense proposal that will address our structural budget deficit.
