Marshals tracked him from a filming location to a store in Olympia, where he was arrested without incident on Friday, he said.Stange was sentenced to nearly 10 years in prison and five years supervised release in 2006 after pleading guilty to armed bank robbery, Williams said. He was freed on supervised release in 2014, but had been sought since he walked away from a halfway house in Spokane.Brandon Roberts, the film’s producer, said he did not know Stange was a fugitive and that he would not have cast him if he had known about his past.“This is a small-budget movie,” he said. The filming process is “a short blast of work, 12 hours a day, every single day. You get to know people well in a professional sense – what is their work ethic, do they show up on time – but beyond that we didn’t know anything about his background.”“He did a good job. He was friendly. Well-liked. We didn’t know he was a criminal or anything like that,” Roberts added.Stange plays the role of Dr. Lourdes, an evil physician who targets the protagonist, in the film slated to be released in 2016, Roberts said.– REUTERS –Relatedcenter_img Experience the horror of Ebola in this new virtual reality filmlast_img read more

Ronaldo Ready to Risk Injury to Play for Portugal

first_imgEURO 2020 QUALIFIERSPortugal’s Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to play in their Euro 2020 qualifiers against Lithuania and Luxembourg despite concerns over his fitness which came to the fore last weekend, coach Fernando Santos said on Wednesday.Ronaldo was substituted in the 55th minute of Juventus’ win over AC Milan in Serie A on Sunday, the earliest he has been taken off by the Italian champions, and he was visibly furious with coach Maurizio Sarri as he stormed down the tunnel. Ronaldo…ready to risk injury for Portugal Sarri said after the game that Ronaldo has been managing a knee problem for the last month without missing matches and has also been dealing with thigh and calf muscle problems. However, Santos said there was no issue with the country’s most capped player and record scorer, who has scored 95 international goals and could reach a century in Portugal’s Group B games against Lithuania and Luxemburg.Portugal will seal a place at Euro 2020 if they beat Lithuania and Serbia fail to beat Luxembourg.“If he wasn’t fit we wouldn’t have called him up. Everyone likes to talk and speculate about Cristiano Ronaldo because he is the best player in the world,” he told a news conference ahead of Thursday’s game at home to Lithuania.“If it was any other player there would be no such fuss. He is fit and he’s going to play.”Santos, who led Portugal to glory at Euro 2016, became more irritated as he was further pressed about the Juve forward, declaring: “This conference is not about Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s about Portugal and the game with Lithuania.”EURO 2020(Thursday)Czech v KosovoEngland v MontenegroPortugal v LithuaniaSerbia v LuxembourgTurkey v IcelandAlbania v AndorraFrance v MoldovaShare this:FacebookRedditTwitterPrintPinterestEmailWhatsAppSkypeLinkedInTumblrPocketTelegramlast_img read more
